The Estate is located in the Moselle region in Luxembourg, bordering Germany and was founded over 200 years ago when Mrs. Alice Hartmann purchased the estate in 1920. She kept the business running even through WWII when Luxembourg was occupied by Germany. After her death, her nephew took things over in the 80's, but in 1996 it was then handed over to its actual owners, who are Pierre Wesner and Jean Godard, both from winemaking families.
